Workplace Unfairness

After several months of being harassed by a  male coworker, I finally broke down and  reported to my employer that a nurse coworker had been sexually harassing me at work.  An investigation was conducted by interviewing several other employees who had witnessed his behavior.  The allegations were substantiated through this investigation.  This nurse also preys on female patients, which was also reported to my employer.  The conclusion by my employer was to go back to work and, "Be professional," and that the appropriate corrective actions had been taken.  Shockingly,  I was still required to work in the same small nurse's station with this man on a full time day shift position.  The only other advise I was given was to go work in another department, which I have.  The female patient's rights have also been disregarded  to protect them from a male nurse who is a sexual predator.  I was also  told I'm not allowed to talk about this at work, which means most of my fellow coworkers are not aware of the kind of man they're working with.  My employer boasts of having a zero tolerance to sexual harassment in the workplace, and even has the State of California Law against sexual harassment posted in the nurse's lounge.  I believe this was mismanaged by my employer, who I pleaded with, that I not have to continue to work with this man. I also contacted the State of California to ask if my employer was justified in their decision.  The State agreed with my employer.  My poor husband, by the way, has shown great restraint in maintaining his anger and frustration towards this man, and my employer.  I'm asking that people will sign this petition to hopefully change the mindset of people in positions of power who disregard employees who desire to go to work and feel comfortable to do their jobs professionally in a non-hostile and decent work environment.  Thank you.
"We the undersigned,"  Agree with Diana Cote, that employees should not be forced by their employers to continue to work in the same work environment with someone who has been found guilty of sexually harassing them.  This creates a very uncomfortable workplace, which ultimately leads to the victim being forced to leave their job, instead of the person who committed the hostile behavior.  Please consider if this were you, your loved one or friend who may have or might someday be facing this same circumstance.  How would you feel?  This petition is to the benefit of all people who have to work for a living, to protect them from having to leave their job because of someone else's bad behavior. The hope is, that there may a clause written into the already California State Law against sexual harassment in the workplace for more protection for the victim.  Thank you.
